Online Trauma Counselling Across the UK

You don't have to travel to access specialist trauma support.

Online Counselling for Survivors of Sexual Violence

Bee-lieve Survivors CIC provides secure online counselling for adults and young people aged 16+ across the UK who have been affected by sexual abuse, sexual assault, rape, sexual harassment or other forms of sexual violence.

The impact of sexual violence can be immediate or may emerge many years later. You may be struggling with trauma, anxiety, low mood, relationships, confidence, trust or feeling overwhelmed, or you may simply know that something has changed and you would like support to understand what you are experiencing.

Our experienced and appropriately qualified counsellors provide a confidential, compassionate and trauma-informed space where you can explore your experiences at your own pace.

Online counselling allows you to access support from a place where you feel comfortable, without the need to travel to an appointment.

  • Access to counselling across the UK
  • No need to travel to appointments
  • Greater flexibility around work and other commitments

Trauma-Informed Counselling Understanding the Impact of Trauma

Trauma can affect how we feel, think, behave and relate to other people. Its effects can continue long after the original experience has ended.People affected by sexual violence may experience responses such as:

  • Fight
  • Flight
  • Freeze
  • Fawn
  • Dissociation
  • Hypervigilance
  • Emotional numbness
  • Difficulty trusting others
  • Feeling unsafe or constantly on alert

These responses can be understandable adaptations to overwhelming experiences rather than signs of weakness or failure.Trauma-informed counselling can help you develop greater understanding of your responses, explore what you have experienced and work towards developing a greater sense of safety, choice and control.

Confidential and Professional Support Your Privacy Matters

Counselling provides a confidential space to talk about experiences that may be difficult to share elsewhere. We explain confidentiality and its professional limits clearly before counselling begins, so you understand how your information will be handled. Our counsellors work within appropriate professional, ethical and safeguarding frameworks.Online counselling is not suitable for every situation, and we will discuss whether online support is appropriate for your individual circumstances before counselling begins.

Finding the Right Counsellor Different Levels of Experience and Fees

We understand that finding a counsellor you feel comfortable with is an important part of the counselling process.Bee-lieve is developing a service that brings together counsellors with different levels of professional experience and specialism.Depending on availability and suitability, counselling may be provided by:
