Many people come to counselling because they are struggling with anxiety, low mood, stress, panic attacks, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, or feeling overwhelmed. They may not realise that these experiences can sometimes be linked to past trauma or adverse life experiences.
At Bee-lieve we understand that trauma affects everyone differently. You don't need to identify as having experienced trauma or have a diagnosis to access support. We will work with you to understand your experiences, make sense of your symptoms, and help you move towards healing in a safe, compassionate and trauma-informed way.

For full-fee paying clients, there is no waiting list, allowing you to begin when you feel ready.
Sessions are guided by your needs, goals and readiness, whether you are looking for shorter-term support or open-ended therapy.
We understand the impact trauma can have on emotional wellbeing, relationships, confidence and day-to-day life.
We offer a counselling space that is private, respectful and centred around you.
Bee-lieve Survivors CIC provides trauma-informed counselling for adults and young people aged 16+ who have been affected by sexual abuse, sexual assault, rape, sexual harassment or other forms of sexual violence.
We understand that the impact of sexual violence can extend far beyond the experience itself. People may continue to experience emotional, psychological, physical or relational difficulties long after an incident has taken place.
You do not need to have a diagnosis or identify with the word "trauma" to seek support. If you are unsure whether your experiences have affected you in this way, our What Is Trauma? resource provides further information about trauma and its potential impact on the mind and body.
Everyone responds to trauma differently. You may experience some of these difficulties, all of them, or something completely different.
Sexual violence can also affect partners, family members and other people close to the survivor.
Where appropriate, Bee-lieve may provide support and psychoeducation for non-abusing partners and loved ones who are trying to understand the impact of sexual trauma and support someone they care about.
Our approach is compassionate, non-judgemental and trauma-informed. We recognise that recovery is not a linear process and that each person's needs, circumstances and readiness for support are different.
You don't have to have everything figured out before you reach out.
