About Bee-lieve Survivors

Trauma-Informed Counselling, Workplace Wellbeing and Professional Support

Why we exist

Many survivors want support but experience barriers to accessing appropriate counselling.

Existing charities, community organisations and public services provide valuable support, often while managing increasing demand, limited resources and long waiting lists.

Bee-lieve was created to work alongside existing services and explore additional, sustainable pathways into specialist trauma-informed counselling.

We believe that access to meaningful support should not depend solely on a person’s financial circumstances.

Building a Sustainable Service for Survivors

Bee-lieve Survivors CIC believes that access to specialist, trauma-informed support should not be determined solely by a person's financial circumstances.

Our counselling services include full-fee options, helping us to build a sustainable service while providing clients with access to experienced and appropriately qualified counsellors.

As Bee-lieve develops, income generated through counselling, workshops and organisational training may help us create opportunities for reduced-cost or funded support where resources allow.

Our longer-term vision is to develop a sustainable and inclusive model that brings together counselling, education and community support, while continuing to explore funding, partnerships and other opportunities to widen access for people who may otherwise face financial barriers to specialist support.

Bee-lieve is committed to providing services that are ethical, professional, inclusive and grounded in safety, choice, dignity and respect.

We recognise that every person's experience of sexual violence is different. Support is offered in a way that respects individual circumstances, needs and readiness, without judgement or pressure.

By accessing Bee-lieve's counselling, workshops or organisational services, individuals and organisations are supporting the development of a community interest organisation committed to improving access to specialist support for people affected by sexual violence.

Our aim is to build something sustainable: a service that can support survivors today while creating greater opportunities for access in the future.

Bee-lieve Survivors CIC is currently in development and is not yet open for counselling referrals any refferals will be processed through survivors support

Working to Widen Access to Trauma-Informed Support

Bee-lieve Survivors CIC was established to help widen access to specialist, trauma-informed counselling and support for survivors of sexual violence who may experience barriers because of cost, waiting lists, location or other life circumstances.

Our longer-term aim is to develop safe, inclusive and sustainable counselling pathways for adults and young people aged 16 and over through community insight, professional partnerships and future funding opportunities.

Bee-lieve Survivors CIC is currently in development and is not yet open for counselling referrals.

Where Are We Now

Bee-lieve Survivors CIC has not yet received external funding and is currently developing the foundations needed to provide services safely and responsibly.

We are gathering evidence of community need, developing partnerships and establishing our safeguarding, clinical governance and operational processes.

Our aim is to begin with a small, carefully developed counselling service and grow sustainably as funding, partnerships and resources become available.

We also hope to develop supported placement and volunteering opportunities for appropriately trained trainee counsellors and qualified practitioners.

Future counselling services will be introduced gradually and supported by appropriate safer recruitment, assessment, safeguarding, clinical supervision and professional standards.
